What the review team checks
The eight checkpoints every release passes before delivery.
Updated Sep 26, 2026
Each submission is reviewed against eight checkpoints. Automated flags appear instantly in your release page; a reviewer completes the rest.
| Checkpoint | What we verify |
|---|---|
| Artwork | Size, quality, prohibited text and imagery |
| Audio | Lossless master present, no clipping, correct length |
| Metadata | Titles, versions, genres, language, copyright |
| Rights | Ownership certification, samples, cover-song licensing, commercial acoustic screening |
| Artist identity | Account matches the artist name; no impersonation |
| ISRC | Present or to be assigned; no duplicates |
| UPC | Present or to be assigned; valid format |
| Store compliance | Meets each store's content policies |
Audio rights screening
When you submit, Rythora may automatically compare your masters against commercial recognition catalogs (for example ACRCloud or AudD).
- A match that conflicts with your submitted artist/title can put the release on hold until you provide license or ownership evidence.
- No match does not mean your rights are cleared. Reviewers still listen and verify ownership. Automated tools cannot prove originality.
If we request License documentation, upload or reply with proof that you control the recording (or that samples / third-party material are cleared).
Outcomes
- Approved, moves to delivery
- Changes requested, fix the listed items and resubmit
- Rejected, the release cannot be distributed; the reason is shown on the release page
